He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Workin and Alma Workin (Olstad); his wife Betty Workin; his son Joel Workin; his daughter-in-law Lora Workin; his parents-in-law, Otto and Clara Rostad; his siblings, Marlowe Workin, Richard Workin, Arland Workin, David Workin, Madelyn Ulland and Arlene Klug; his siblings-in-law, Hartman Ulland, Marlin Klug, Bernie Kyllo, Robert Baker, Kenneth Rostad, John Milo Rostad, Avis Workin and Maxine Rostad; Paul Jenkins.
He is survived by: his son Lowell; his grandsons, James (Sarah Davis) and Matthew (Rylee); his great grandchild Iver; his son Leon (Beth); his grandson Alexander (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Milo and Nora; his grandson Aaron; his daughter Kathryn; his sisters, Francis Kyllo and Carol Baker; and his sisters-in-law, Bunny Workin, Marlys Workin, Judi Workin and Vonnie Rostad. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
