He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Rustad and Cecile Rustad (Devitt); his wife LaVonne Rustad (Carlson); his children, Chelsa Swaser (Brian) of Fargo, ND, Nathaniel Rustad (Ericka) of Maple Valley, WA and Adam Rustad (Samira) of Bellingham, WA; his siblings, Irvin Rustad (Lynann) of Fargo, ND, Donna Phillips (Craig) of Moorhead, MN, Doris Haraldson (Rick) of Fargo, ND and Patrick Anderson (Betty) of LaCentre, MN; his grandchildren, Zachary, Isaac, Tanner, Ryder, Skyla and Austyn; and his great grandchild Declan. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Fargo Post 2 Baseball or The National Cemetery of Fargo.
