He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Giles; his children, Tom McDougall (Chris) of Mapleton, ND, Steve McDougall of Fort Myers, FL, Mary Rohleder (Tom) of Fargo, ND and Sueann Chase (Dan) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Meagan McDougall (Carly), Morgan McDougall, Matthew Rohleder, Mark Rohleder, Zach Rohleder, Jack Rohleder, Blake Chase, Micah Chase and Toby Chase; and his sister Rena Overby of Langdon, ND. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
