He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Meyer and Jessie Meyer (Astrup); his wife Norma; his brothers, Gerald "Oz", Allan, Charles, Ronald "Butch" and Richard; his son-in-law Jim Coates; his brother-in-law Gerald McMahon; his niece Annette Meyer; and his great-nephew Marty Boutiette.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly Meyer-Coates and Robert Meyer (Lori); his grandson Aaron Meyer (Lianna); his great grandchild Walter Eric; his grandson Ryan Meyer; his stepgranddaughters, Hailey and Ally Eller; his siblings, Wayne Meyer (Jet), Phylis McMahon, David Meyer and Becki Beach (Steve); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Meyer, Nita Meyer, Sharon Meyer, Joanne Monson, Carolyn Holtz (RE), Lois Meyer and Willard Wahl. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
