Robert James Alin Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert James Alin (Fargo, North Dakota), who passed away at the age of 90, on May 28, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his significant other Doris Elaine Persson of Edgeley, ND.; and his brother Dr. Jack Alin. He is survived by: his father-in-law Fred Persson; his children, Cynthia Jacobs (Richard), Julie Alin and John Alin (Tracy); his grandsons, Billy Jordan (Stephanie), Sam Jacobs (Steph), Robbie Kimm (Ross) and Hans Alin; his great grandchildren, Spencer and Grace Jordan; and his sister Lois Peterson. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 concerns, a celebration of Bob's life to be announced for a later date.

A few were Amistad worldwide, Dollars for Scholars, Salvation Army, Dakota Medical Foundation, Boys and Girls Ranch, YMCA, YWCA, Churches united, New Life Center, Boy Scouts of America, Cully's Kids and many others.

M. Helen Tintes wrote a sympathy message

“My deepest sympathies to your family. Bob and Doris were friends of my parents and also visited me and my husband, Klaus, in Vienna, Austria in the 90s. They were such special people and i do recall being babysat by one of their daughters... Please let me know where i can send a card. Prayers for the repose of his generous soul.
