It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert S. Scheidecker of Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Scheidecker and Gertrude Scheidecker (Weis); and his siblings, Frank, Roy, Charles, Lucille Ditterick, Eileen Hendrickx and Frances Breher.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Walz; and his children, Roger (Terri), Randall (Gina), Ronald (Cynthia), James (Wendy), Robert (Kim), Karol Fredrickson (Ken), Joan Hoven (Howard), Renee Skalsky (L. Kim), Sharon Evans (Andy Pilecki), Lori Wambach (Greg) and Janet Ehlers (Darwin). He is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph's Catholic School, Moorhead, MN, Shanley High School, Fargo, ND, or your favorite charity.

“In loving memory of Robert S. Scheidecker, Bob is a brother in law of mine. Though I am no longer a member of the family due to divorce, I have many good memories of Bob dating back to 1972 when we were married. I was told he was a prankster which was true, I fell for more than one of his pranks. In him, I saw a devoted husband, a loving father, a hard worker, a kind soul and a Christian who practiced his faith. His gift was humor and living in the moment, I will miss him.”
