He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Thureen (East); his children, Ruth Quanbeck (Roger) of Hallock, MN, Julie Militzer (Kirk) of Eau Claire, WI, Denise Erickson (Randy) of Barnesville, MN, Brenda Richman (Nathan) of Moorhead, MN, David Tollefson (Shannen) of Moorhead, MN and Sara Hansen of West Fargo, ND.; his grandchildren, Tressa Bengston (Micah), Stephen Quanbeck (Stephanie), Danielle Casperson (Matt), Carissa Eikom (Paul), Tori Hanson (Brett), Joshua Militzer, Peder Erickson (Taylor), Rachel Woodworth (Alex), Ryan Richman, Josiah Militzer (Annie), Elizabeth Erickson, Hannah Hansen, Abby Erickson, Ashley Zwiers (Thomas), Ethan Hansen, Sophie Hansen, Esther Hansen and Scott Lantz (Cassie); his great grandchildren, Bjorne, Charles, Everett, Bennett, Eleanor, Elliot, Rose, Jane, Elsie, Jack, William, Brynn, Brooks, Ava June, Judah, Quinn, Lotte, Corban and Gavin; and his siblings, Raymond Tollefson (Marian) of Crookston, MN, Doris Desautels of Fargo, ND, Paul Tollefson (Elaine) of Crookston, MN, Joyce Vogt of Union Town, OH, Elaine Evenson of Hillsboro, ND and Curt Thureen (Sharon).
