Ronald Peterson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2025, at the age of 83, Ronald Peterson (Fargo, North Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Melvin and Almira Peterson (Haagenson) of Luverne, ND; his wife Della Peterson; his sister Janice Lewis; his brother-in-law Lawrence Lewis of Colorado; his brother John Peterson; and his sister-in-law Renee Peterson of Grand Forks, ND.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Lauf (Rob) of Fargo, ND and Kathy Hase (Darren Sprute) of Big Lake, MN; his grandchildren, Savannah Welch (Nick) of St. Paul, MN, Robbie Lauf (Medora) of Bismarck, ND, Grant Hase of Chanhassen, MN and Grace Sprute of Big Lake, MN; and his great grandchildren, Ellis, Iris Welch of St. Paul, MN and Robert C. Lauf IV of Bismarck, ND.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church - North Campus (2900 Broadway N, Fargo, ND 58102).
In lieu of flowers, Ron requests that the NDSU Bison Football win their 11th FCS Championship this year, and that the Minnesota Vikings figure out their quarterback situation as soon as possible.
