He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Matter and Joyce Matter (Flynn); his sisters, Diane Yonga and Mary Matter; his brother-in-law Dalles Leier; and his parents-in-law, Leonard and Theresa Leier.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Leier; his children, Jonathan Matter (Chelsey) and Jessica Brammer (Andrew); his grandchildren, Adley Matter, Cass Brammer and Reid Brammer; and his siblings, Ralph (Mary), Rich, Roland (Shannon), Kathy Klindt (Al), Jackie Vandermay (LeRoy), Gina Hutchison (Kevin) and Joy Stone (Jon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
