She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Wegner and Martha Wegner (Elhard) of Alfred; her husband Larry Nitschke; her daughter Janie; and her siblings, Roger, Roland, Gordon and Judy.

She is survived by: her children, Lynne Newark (Brad), Crete, Greece, Lance Nitschke (Shiela) and Landon Nitschke (Staci); her foster son Lee Dahl (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Luke, Lee, Logan and Lawson; her sisters, Carolann Carroll (John) and Madelyn Williams; and her sisters-in-law, Janell Wegner, DeVaris Wegner and Darlene Wegner.
