With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Joann Rinde of Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on February 9, 2026 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Joann Rinde to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Birrenkott and Anna Birrenkott of Mary's High School; her husband Jim; and her sisters, Eileen, Dorothy and Audrey.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Zmyslinski (Tom) of Fargo, ND and James N. Rinde of Gahanna, OH; her grandchildren, Anne Zmyslinski-Seelig (Aaron) of Bend, OR and Zachary Zmyslinski (Camlinh) of Houston, TX; her great grandchildren, Runa, Silje, Thora Seelig, Zuri and Zander Zmyslinski; and her brother Michael Birrenkott of Bismarck, ND. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are not necessary; however, those who wish to do so may make a donation in Shirley's name to HIA Hospice or Bethany Retirement Living.
