She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Pelletier and Rose Pelletier (Fetsch); her in-laws, Stanley and Nancy Johnson; and her brother-in-law Tom Power.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark (Loriann) of Fargo and Paul (Traci) of East Greenwich, RI.; her grandchildren, Dr. Kathryn Johnson of Coos Bay, OR, Dr. Adria Johnson of Charleston, SC, Br. Stephen Johnson, Michelle, Erik, Merryn Johnson, Layla and Colin Johnson of East Greenwich, RI; and her sister Rosemary Power of Billings, MT. She is also survived by several cousins, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church (5202 25th St S, Fargo, ND 58104). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (1892 15th Ave, Langdon, ND 58249).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation in Susan's honor to the West Hempstead Community Scholarship Fund (PO Box 2132; WH, NY 11552), the Alzheimer Association (https://www.alz.org), or Memory Café of the Red River Valley (https://memorycaferrv.org). The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Susan Johnson 's name.
