He was predeceased by: his stepfather Robert Cookson. He is survived by: his wife DeAnn Hallett; his children, Curtis Savey (Sylvia), Stephanie Welton (Drew), Toni Jablonsky (Levi), Traci Diegel and Denton Diegel; his mother DeDe Cookson (Meier); and his brothers, Jay Diegel and Tate Diegel (Teresa). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
