He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Heinen and Philomene Heinen (LaChapelle). He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Heinen; and his children, Cate Heinen of Fargo, Trevor Heinen of West Fargo, Mitch Heinen of Fargo and Paul Heinen of Amenia. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
