We bid farewell to William Dale Burwell of Fargo, North Dakota, born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 18, 2024 at the age of 78. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond and Maybelle (LeMoine); his brothers, Michael and Thomas Burwell; and his grandson Max Burwell.

He is survived by : his wife Kathy; his children, Renee Sandvik (Burwell) and Jeremy Burwell; his granddaughter Emily Cortes (Sandvik); his son-in-law Jonathan Cortes; his grandson Jack Sandvik; his great grandchild Kelly Cortes; his brother Gary Burwell (Sandy); his niece Gretchen Sandberg (Nick); and his sister-in-law Denise Burwell (Tom).

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A vigil service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (524 5th Ave N, Grand Forks, ND 58203).
