He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bachmeier and Margaret Bachmeier (Geisinger); and his siblings, John, Bennie, Frances Gilbert and Rose Cecelia Murray.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Pfeifer; his children, Brenda, Brian, Brad (Sue), Bruce (Susan), Beverly Sautner (Jeremy), Bernadine and Barbra; his grandchildren, Dayton, Mackenna, Addison, Bergen, Clay, Jason, Alivia, Kyler, Anna and Phoebe; his great grandchild Kazimir; and his sister Dorothy Hannon of Albany, OR..
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (605 1st St W, Anamoose, ND 58710). A prayer will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
