He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Steidl and Julia Steidl (Sherman); his wife Rita Steidl; his son Daniel Steidl; and his siblings, Henry, Dorothy and Mitzi.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Steidl (Ruby) and Susan Thompson (Charlie); and his brother Paul Steidl (Jeannie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
