He was predeceased by: his son Ben Kvislen; and the parents of child, Carl and Kaye Kvislen. He is survived by: his wife Candy Kvislen; and his daughters, Melissa Genter (Corey) and Jenny Carlson (Joshua). He is also survived by his grandchildren, 9 siblings and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Veterans Honor Flight of ND/MN or the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan.
