It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Moericke of Flaxton, North Dakota, born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhardt Moericke and Hattie Moericke (Lueke); his wife Marlyn Kalmbach; and his siblings, Roland, Douglas, Clarence, Evelyn, Helen and Elmer.

He is survived by: his children, Kimberly, Ronald and Kathleen; and his stepchildren, Calvin, Doug, Maureen, Rick, Jeff, Lori, Ron, Galen, Lance, Melissa and Tammy.
