She was predeceased by : her parents, Aletta Madson and Palmer Madson of Niagara, ND; her husband Gene Thoe of Fordville; her siblings, Ronald, James, Paul, Gerald Madson and Vivian Behm; her sister-in-law Viola Madson; and her son-in-law Kenneth Hoffmann.
She is survived by : her children, Barbara Hoffmann and Randy Thoe; her grandsons, Neil Hoffmann (Sheri), Chris Hoffmann (Cari Johnson) and Sean Hoffmann (Krysta); her great grandchildren, Justin, Eric, Gillian and Casper; her sister Geneva Flaaskog; and her sisters-in-law, Avis Madson, Sylvia Madson and Janet Madson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A family service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 7:00 AM at the Elk Valley Church. Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
