He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Ness and Tina Ness (Dale); his wife Carol Beneda Pich; his grandson Joseph; and his siblings, Gunnard (Ellen), George (Marion), Marvin (Barbiece) and Maridell Hill (Gerald).

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Sheryl Baier, Renae Laschkewitsch (Mike), Janet Gerving and Steven Pich (Gina); his grandchildren, Brittany West (Matt), Derek Pich, Bethany Tamez (John), Shelby Baier (Karson Henke), Nathan Laschkewitsch, Kayla Gorosoki (Adam), Cole Pich, Nicholas Laschkewitsch (Janah), Hannah Gerving and Eric Gerving; his great grandchildren, Bryndle, Ryder Henke, Tristan, Maddox Tamez, Michael Laschkewitsch, Conner, Madison, Parker, Evander, Alexander, Gianna West and Eden Goroski; and his siblings, Kenneth Ness (Mavis) and Marlys Bye.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 AM at the Rotnem-Abel American Legion Post 274.
