He was predeceased by: his mother Lily Ferguson (Wilson); his wife Marilyn Jo Sobolik; his father Raymond Ferguson; and his siblings, Rae Ann Larson, Mary Alice Lottine and Jay Ferguson.
He is survived by: his family Forest River; his children, Gary Ferguson (Jami) and Debbie Ferguson (Doug); his granddaughter Amy Kruse (Matthew); and his great grandchildren, Everett Lee and Annabelle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Memorial Park Cemetery of Forest River or the Forest River American Legion Post 251.
