He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Friedt; his daughter Patricia Harms; his parents, George Schudar and Mary "Maggie" Schudar; and his siblings, Lisbeth (Betty) and Dennis Schudar.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Hagen (Dale) of Lake City, SD and Tamara Mangahas (Rick); his son-in-law Joel Harms; his grandchildren, Joshua Mangahas (Tamara), John Hagen, Jeremy Hagen (Linda), Kalista Mangahas (Jamie Bernard), Brittany Edelman, Jackie Hagen, Melissa Klapperich (Austin), Shayna Mangahas, Megan Harms and Justin Harms; his great grandchildren, Ashur, Kash and Cruz Hagen; his grandchildren, Colton, Owen, Rosalie, Liliana Hagen, Jordan, Isabel, Adelaide Mangahas, Stella, Victoria Edelman, Anaro Harms, Roslyn Mabery, Athena and Steel Harms; and his brothers, Charles Schudar (Candice) and Thomas Schudar. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
