With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Miller of Gackle, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Buerkle and Alma Buerkle; and her husband Norman. She is survived by: her daughters, Katina and Anita Hoger (Scott) of New Salem; her granddaughter Brenna Hoger; her sisters, JoAnne Miller (Marvin) and Marcene Veil (Henry); her sister-in-law Eileen Miller; her nieces and nephews, Brian Veil, Luther Miller, Randy Miller, JoDell Stading (Darryle), Denise Stoppleworth (Kevin), Angela Villareal (Hugo) and Sarah Afzal (Adeel); her siblings-in-law, Norbert, Calvin Miller and Pat Miller; her in-laws, Emil and Mathilda Miller; and her nephew Todd Veil.
