She was predeceased by: her father Jacob Benz; her husbands, Walter J. Szczur and Duane A. Rasch; her parent Katherina Link-Benz (Horning); her siblings, Ida Buxbaum (John), Emma Burrell (Frank), Ella Sailer (Ruben), Elsie Buchman (Milton), Florence Jose (Ervin), Irene Victor (Joe), Henry Link (Lillian), Emil Link (Ida), Alvin Link (Minnie), Iver Benz and Raymond Benz; and her siblings-in-law, Charlotte Schmidt Miller, Mary LaBounty (Fred) and Julian Szczur (Florence).
She is survived by: her children, Gary Szczur (Sue) of Wilton, ND, Bonita Metz (James) of Litchfield, AZ, Wayne Szczur of Mobridge, SD and Michael Szczur (Letha) of Mobridge, SD; and her stepchildren, Kelly Rasch (Jennifer) of Garrison, ND, Peggy Rasch (Kim Norenberg) and Darcy Claus (Mitch Billings) of Puyallup, WA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
