Gloria Lies Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Lies (Garrison, North Dakota), who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gloria Lies to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hagen and Inger Hagen (Jensen); her parents-in-law, Peter and Helen Lies; her foster daughter Rita Stafford; her sister Coradean Hagen; her granddaughter Chelsey Lies; her great grandchild Eli Wilcox; her brother Roy Hagen; her brothers-in-law, Ronald Ostby, Jerry Garcia and Vincent Lies; her brother Mike; her sister-in-law Jean Lies; and her nephew Chad Hagen.

She is survived by: her husband Dan; her children, Dori (Gord) of Douglas, Danny (Annie) of Douglas and Daryl (Kim) of Douglas; her grandchildren, Sarah (Kevin), Adam (Krystal), Luke (Lacey), Cody (Savannah), Samantha (Skylar) and Amber (Reed); her great grandchildren, Cooper, Marlee, Emma, Kash, Harper, Sawyer, Liam, Sadie, Ciarra, Blake, Madison, Stella, Sharlotte, Saige and Evelyn; her siblings, Helen Ostby, Phyllis Lies (Howard), Sylvia Garcia, Elden Hagen (Cindy) and Wade Hagen (Tammy); and her siblings-in-law, Janet Hagen, Donna Lies, Pete Lies (Joy), Howard Lies (Phyllis) and Bernard "Nip" Lies. She is also survived by several cousins & friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church. A prayer was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers/memorials, donations can be gifted to the Benedictine Living Community of Garrison, a local 4-H organization, or a charity of your choice.
