She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Johnson and Olive Johnson (Melom); her husband Melvin Martinsen; her siblings, Milfred Johnson, Marlene Kritsky and Doreen Schatz; her siblings-in-law, Larry Sundbakken, LaVerne Berg, Raymond Sloboden, Ron Undlin, Galen Martinsen, Leland Martinsen and Gayle Martinsen (Tenley Johnson); and her close friend Jim Iverson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Corrina Martinsen (LeRoy Goebel) and Sheila Brunner (Mark); her grandchildren, Stephanie Lacher (Tyler), Kelcie Feeney, Steven Brunner (Sarah), Kyle, Karisa and Kaden Goebel; her great grandchildren, Sydney, TJ Lacher, Elizabeth, Madelyn and Leo Brunner; her siblings, Marlys Sundbakken, Eleanor Berg, Wayne Johnson and Glenn Johnson (Debby); and her siblings-in-law, Diane Johnson, Judy Sloboden, Andi Klanderman (Eric), Myrna Undlin, Joyce Martinsen and DeLane Kritsky (Tim Schatz).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home (48 3rd St NE, Garrison, ND 58540). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Peace Lutheran Church (505 2nd St NW, Garrison, ND 58540).
