With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Meyer of Gladstone, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Fischer and Rose Fischer (Hammel); her husband Paul Meyer of Joseph's Catholic Church; her daughter Paula Joan; her siblings, Frances Schollmeyer (Albert), Joe Fischer (Marge), Tom Fischer (Priscilla), Lawrence Fischer (Angeline), Harold Fischer (Nettie), Raymond Fischer, Mary Watkins (Jeff), Dorothy Magelky (Don), Tillie Medlock (Jerry), Jim Fischer (Jean) and Ted Fischer (Ilene); and her sister-in-law Lois Fischer.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Friedt (Florian) of Dickinson, Dennis (Linda) of Dickinson, Timothy (Kathy) of Richardton, Chad (Tammy) of Dickinson, Margaret Subart (Robert) of Robinson, Patrick (Tina) of Gladstone, Theodore (Kayla) of Dickinson, Linda Wendel (Daniel) of Buffalo, Joel (Joyal) of Bismarck, Shawn (Desiree) of Fallon, NV and Mathew (Duffy) of Dickinson; and her brother Bob Fischer of Butte, MT.. She is also survived by 42 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren.
In her honor, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Trinity Catholic Schools to support their mission and to help create a beautiful memorial garden on campus.
