It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ervin Emter of Glen Ullin, North Dakota, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Emter and Veronica Emter (Barth); his siblings, Theodore (Teddy) and Marlene Bechhold; his siblings-in-law, Jean Schulte, Helen Fischer, Virginia Bares and Robert Bares of Laurel, MT; and his stepdaughter Doreen Barnaby.
He is survived by : his former life partner Lucille Veitenheimer; his wife Marguerite Barnaby (Marge); his children, Dale Emter (Hollie), Glen Ullin, Lyle Emter, Leslie Emter (Rhonda) and Bonnie Emter; his stepchildren, Gary Joe Barnaby of Wibaux, MT, Loreen Grandy (Butch) of Farson, WY, Jerry Barnaby (Kim) of Gillette, WY and Coreen Davis (Jason) of Dracula, GA; his sister Adeline Thomas (Joe); and his siblings-in-law, LeRoy Bares (Marina), Irvin Bares, Beach, Tom Bares (Donna) of Billings, MT and Marlene Bares of Bozeman, MT. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
