He was predeceased by: his parents, David Tessmann and Frieda Tessmann (Opp); his wife Deborah Lovell; his siblings, Rueben and Norma Allen; and his brother-in-law Jack Zumbaum.
He is survived by: his children, Damon (Marisa) of Goodrich, Deanna Becket (Chris) of Edgewater and Misty Galvin (Brian) of Goodrich; his brother Eugene Tessmann of Harvey; and his brother-in-law Gary Allen of Chamberlain. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hertz Funeral Homes - Harvey (800 Birch Ave, Harvey, ND 58341). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (210 3rd St W, Goodrich, ND 58444).
