We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2025, at the age of 58, Arturo Villarreal of Grafton, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Arturo's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Arturo has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Villarreal, Jr.; and his brother-in-law John Merkins. He is survived by: his mother Susana Villarreal (Mendoza) of Perham, MN; his wife Tammy Villarreal; his children, Anthony Villarreal of Grafton, ND and LaTasha Villarreal of Walhalla, ND; his stepdaughters, Kristin Sapa of Cavalier, ND and Jessica Cook of Cavalier, ND; and his siblings, Gloria Merkins of Perham, MN, Juanita Parra (Ernesto) of Laredo, TX and Daniel Villarreal III (Angie) of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by four step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
