She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Gjerstad and Alma Gjerstad (Peterson); her husband Elton Brekke; her brother Burton Gjerstad; and her great grandchild Alexander Suda.
She is survived by: her children, Jenny Baumgartner (Greg), Shelly Bell (Jerry), Carol Brekke, Leslie Brekke and Elton Brekke (Karen); her grandchildren, Jesse Suda (Mackenzie), Shae Suda, Ryan Baumgartner (Chelsea), Emily Allen (Andrew) and Jacob Brekke (Bethany Stoley); and her sister Dorothy.
Memorials preferred to the Grafton American Legion Auxiliary and Park River Bible Camp.
