He is survived by : his child Leslie II; his wife Verna Aasand of Grafton, ND; his children, Jerry Aasand (Jeanne) of Devils Lake, ND, Terry Aasand (Jennie) of Mandan, ND, Robert Aasand (Giesla) of Hinesville, GA and Jason Aasand (Andrea) of Lynnfield, MA; his stepdaughter Jana Bell (Lee) of Grand Forks, ND; his grandchildren, Garrett Aasand (Billie), Emily Zangari (Patrick), Nick Aasand, Grant Aasand (Jenny), Miranda Wolski (Matt), Lasen Aasand, Layne Aasand, Colby Aasand, Morgan Aasand and Brandi Aasand; his stepgrandchildren, Skylar and Wyatt Bell; his great grandchildren, Abel, Octavia, McKayla, McKenzie, Reed and Charlie; and his siblings, Bonnie McMartin, Inez Riendeau and Harvey Dale Aasand.
