He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Hearonemus and Mabel Hearonemus; his sister Norma Mae; and his brother-in-law Dennis Biel. He is survived by: his sister Gale Link (Harvey); his nieces, Sarah Schultz (Christian) and Amber Zabaldano (Joesph); his nephew Matthew Link (Christine); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Schuyler Schultz, Aia "Doodle" Schultz, Zoey Zabaldano, Zackary Zabaldano, Audrianna Link and Adeline Link; and his cousin Kenneth Jefferson (Eva).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Lutheran Church (324 Chestnut St, Grand Forks, ND 58201). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Schafer Cemetery.
