He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Langer and Olivia Langer (Zahler); his siblings, Reinhold, Richard, Lydia, Bernadette and Irene; his siblings-in-law, Isabelle, Arlan King, Richard Geiser and Ron Corbett; his granddaughter Jaime; and his great grandchild Hailie Rae.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jansen of Staples, Minnesota.; his children, Craig (Kay), Douglas (Laura), Tom (Stacey), Beth Harris, Sue Helming (Jay) and Carol Langer; his siblings, Ben Langer (Zerrin) of Hollywood, FL, Leo (Helen) of Marshall, MN and Agnes Geiser of Bluffton, MN; and his sister-in-law Mary Langer of Wadena, MN.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (524 5th Ave N, Grand Forks, ND 58203). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
