He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard S. French and Marion French (Ward); his brother Cecil French (Bud); and his son-in-law Jeffrey Schirado. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rostvet; his daughters, Julie Schirado of Glen Ullin, ND, Lori Zahradka (Jeff) of Lawton, ND, Diana Graney (Eric) of Casper, WY and Karen Mullenberg (Brian) of Horace, ND; his grandson Ethan Schirado (Jodi) of Bismarck, ND; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Nora Schirado, Addilee, Stetson Meidinger, Halle Lundquist, Emily and Baby Zahradka; and his nephew Gary French (Sharon).
