It is with sadness that the passing of Andrew Simmons Sr. of Grand Forks, North Dakota is shared. Andrew, born on October 17, 1962, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Simmons, Sr. and Joan McKinnon; his brothers, Bob Jr. and Paul; and his close friend Jim Fischer.
He is survived by: his son Andrew Simmons Jr. (Myranda); his grandchildren, Johnny, Rose, Emily, Ashton and Carly; and his siblings, Carolyn and John. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews; and good friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dahl Funeral Home (2029 Central Ave NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Fargo National Cemetery (8709 40th Avenue North, Co Rd 20, Harwood, ND 58042).
