It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arne Askjem of Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Askjem and Marie Askjem (Helland); his wife June; his son Arne Christian Askjem; and his siblings, Hans, Ove, Kjell and Ragnhild.
He is survived by: his children, Tula Pelerine of Minneapolis, MN, Susan Askjem of Grand Forks, ND, Lori Johnson (Joel) of Grand Forks and Eric Askjem (Tammy) of Buxton, ND; and his grandchildren, Angie, Christy, Luke Obie, Linnea, Erik Johnson, Tom, Erica Askjem, Nichole and Chris Pelerine. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
