He is survived by: his daughters, Candace "Candy" Fuehrer (William) and Teresa Simms (Dwaylon); his daughter-in-law Brenda Tufte; his grandchildren, Brandi Fuehrer (Scott Harloff), Hana Cameron (Alex), Tyler Medeiros, Joshua Hall (Abby), Vanessa Martinez (Michael), Jade Hall and Hunter Tufte; and his great grandchildren, Brody Melicher, Parker Cameron, Avelynn Medeiros, Nolan Martinez and Brooks Hall. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

“I stumbled across this today. My most sincere condolences to the remaining family. My parents were friends and next door neighbors of the Tufte's. I grew up playing army guys with Scotty. I remember when they moved out to the farm . We would visit there. We would run and play in the tall grass. Arnold would always tell me, as he poked me in the tummy " here's where the Indian shot you" . He was such a character. Shirley Always had treats that were delicious. Blessings Julie Lacey Schwartz”
