It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Bergit Flom of Grand Forks, North Dakota, born in Gulfport, Mississippi, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Smestad and Bernice Smestad (Kvamme); her sister Grace Schaefer; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Smestad. She is survived by: her husband Terrance J. Flom; her children, Brad Flom of Warren, MN and Brenda Sweeney (Mike) of Eden Prairie, MN; and her brother Randy Smestad. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
