She was predeceased by: her parents, William O'Brien and Rosemary O'Brien; her aunt Barbara; her children, Peg and Jimmy; and her granddaughter Laura.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Carl (Cassaundra), Mark (Nila), Terasa (Brian), Michael, Jayne (Wayne), Judy (Jim), Mari (Rory), Karen (Duane) and Kate (Dan); and her brothers, Billy, Jack and Jimmy. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to local organizations that help people, such as the East Grand Forks Food Shelf and St. Joseph's Social Care and Thrift in Grand Forks.
