He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Ingerd and Viola Mae Olson (Larson); his wife Patti Olson; his sibling Baby Olson; his parents-in-law, Harlen and Ardell Stenerson; his sister-in-law Peggy Jerome; his daughter-in-law Melissa Olson (Sullivan); and his brothers-in-law, William Way (Bill) and Stanley Jerome.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Olson of Scottsdale, AZ and Shannon Olson of Grand Forks, ND; his close friend Judy McDonald of Grand Forks, ND; his grandchildren, Abigail, Alexis and Reed Olson; his siblings, Janice Way of Glendale, AZ, Ron Olson of St. Thomas, ND and Marjy Luger of Phoenix, AZ; and his brother-in-law Randy Stenerson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
