He is survived by: his parents, Carl Schempp and Barbara Tetrault (Tetrault); his close friend Mallory Howe; his siblings, Amy Thilmony (Brandon), Steven Baldson (Katie), Alexander Baldson (McKayla) and Grant Schempp (Crystal Seurer); and his siblings' children, Emma, Hannah, Avery, Madison, Erica, Isla, Zander and Teegan. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Historic Norman Funeral Home (2950 S Washington St, Grand Forks, ND 58201). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Norman Funeral Home Chapel (2950 S Washington St, Grand Forks, ND 58201).
