He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Mont Witter and Martha Witter (Keefer); his son David Michael; his wife Lois; his daughter-in-law Mary Susan Witter; and his siblings, Lester, William, James, Donald, Glen, John Witter, Margaret, Grace, Helen and Anna Mary.

He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Witter of Minot, Merry Jo Theilen (Tony) of Minot, Scott Witter (Julie) of Minot and Gregory Witter Saskatoon (Tracy); his grandchildren, Jennifer Theilen (Chris W.), Jessica Kilbourn (Aaron), Dayne Witter (Abbi H.), Terah Witter, Crystal Witter, Jordan Theilen (Kylee), Jaron Theilen (Ashley B.), Joshua and Kiley Witter; and his great grandchildren, A. J., Brooklyn, Joshua, Bailey Jane, Claire, Cambria, Case, Ranger, Ramsey, Greyson and Gavin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to Shriner's Hospital For Children or to the Our Lady of Grace Food Pantry.
