She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Faulkner and Agnes Faulkner (Berkeland); her husband Robert "Bob" Deitz of Michael's Catholic Church; her sisters, Mary, Barbara and Carol; her son-in-law Patrick; and her great grandchild Aaron.

She is survived by: her children, Kandyce Robertson of Grand Forks, ND, Connie Wylot (Dean) of Lengby, MN, Cynthia Driscoll (Bruce), East, Kathleen (Jay) and Richard Deitz (Trisha) of Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Brandy Keenan, Amanda Hansen, Cody Driscoll, Shyanne Moen (Tanner), Leland Higginbotham (Christine), Luke Higginbotham, Chloe Wylot (Corey Kozel), Brandyn Deitz, Brianna Deitz and Bryce Deitz; her siblings, David Faulkner (Priscilla) and Pamela Pariseau; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Johnson. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
