He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sherva and Ruth Sherva (Hanson); his grandparents, Bernard, Alma Sherva, Olaf and Edith Skjoiten; and his nephew Kevin Sherva.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Marie (Jonathan) of Melrose, MN and Jeffrey David; his wife Kathy Enger of Grand Forks, ND; his daughter Laura Sanda (Derek) of Northwood, ND; his grandchildren, Justin Nygaard, Kayla Hanson (Brandon), Katie Sanda, Jaden Sanda, Madisyn, Zachary and Brooke Ruoff; his son Jeff Sherva (Roxanne) of Horace, ND; his grandchildren, Zac Hofmann (Lynsie), Noah and Benjamin Sherva; his great grandchildren, Hailee, Cooper Hanson and Malakai Hofmann; and his siblings, John Sherva (Loretta) of Northwood, ND, Marc Sherva (Merrie) of Walker, MN and Janelle Skillrud of Verona, WI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
