He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Janzen and Susie Janzen (Hoffman); his son Kenneth Janzen; and his brothers, Edwin Janzen and Albert Janzen.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bannach; his daughter Cindy Savage (Chuck) of Grand Forks, ND; his grandchildren, Tyler Savage and Jacey Savage; and his brother LaVern Janzen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
