He is survived by: his daughters, Annella Winger (Steve), Dianne McWilliams (Randy) and Deborah Fontaine; his grandchildren, Amy Lahr (Brent), Kayla Swartz (Ben Robinson), Sarah Anderson (Josh), Rachyl McWilliams, Tyler Fontaine, Abigayl McWilliams (Tanner Magnell) and Maeghan Fontaine (John Grabanski); and his close friend Mary Sinjem. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 4:30 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (216 Belmont Rd, Grand Forks, ND 58201). Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A vigil service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
