She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Kempert and Wilhelmina Kempert (Lange); her husband Clifford Arntz; her siblings, Regina McDougall, Edward, Bernard, Irene Ellis and Delaine Slagle; her son-in-law Dennis Hathaway; and her grandchildren, Kelly Arntz, James Parton and Dax Christian.

She is survived by: her children, Gloria Larson (Gail) of Fargo, ND, Peggy Christian of Descanso, CA, Diana Parton (Richard) of Thompson, ND, Carol Voosen (Fred) of Vancouver, WA, Joan Erickson (Paul) of Grand Forks, ND and Barry Arntz (Cheryl) of Thompson, ND. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be donated to the Salvation Army, Grand Forks Senior Center or Hospice of the Red River Valley.
