He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Rud and Clara Rud; and his siblings, Jenny, Clarinda, Christine, Clarice, Carol, Carl Jr., LeRoy, Arthur and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri and Joseph; his wife Joyce Gerstenberg (Passa); his stepchildren, Gina Adams (Gerstenberg) and Thomas Gerstenberg Jr.; his granddaughters, Jessica, Brianna, Madelyn and Isabel; and his great grandchild Elkie.
